The Mushroom Washi Lantern is a luxurious lantern pendant light which is made here in the UK.
The shade’s frame is made from high-quality birch plywood which is covered with a traditional Japanese-style laminated paper or ‘washi’.
The paper is strengthened with the addition of a fire-retardant clear backing and, along the spines, a grey bird’s eye wood veneer. This creates a beautiful light grey shade which, when lit, delivers white light into the room of your choice.
Unlike some examples, this lantern pendant light is intended to be admired from all angles and the large opening at its base lets you view its intricate frame.
It’s bundled with an oversized LED bulb that generates a warm light, a round black ceiling rose and a black braided cable (select your preferred cable length above).
